I hate dirt. I know, it was an extremely random thought for me to think. But it was what popped into my mind as I looked down at my shoes. Not just brown dirt, 'cause that's not what we have here where I live. Here we have red clay dirt. And it gets everywhere. On your clothes, in your hair, in your teeth, in your eyes, and on your shoes. Because of that stupid red dirt, my brand new Sketchers were a faint pink color instead of the white they were when we bought them at Payless. My mom and I paid $53 dollars for them. A brave soul marching on in the dark,
This soldier's life started with a spark.
He is invincible, only one thing will kill him:
A sparkling glass full of water to the brim.
As he marches you do not hear any sound,
There is no breath, no footfalls on the ground.
He is the ultimate soldier, but to use him would be low.
Because he is fickle, no one knows where he will go.
He is always marching, always running.
He is unpredictable, he is cunning.
He is the soldier, he is the night.
He is the sun, he is the light.
He is a follower, he is in pursuit.
He is always moving, he doesn't stop to salute.

Chaslia's Quest: Chapter 1 Chaslia did not like the look of this one bit. It was too quiet in the small town of Fletcher's Titan. Silence usually came at night, but not this silent. There were no dogs barking, or doors shutting. No lights flooded into the streets as people entered their homes. The rock paved streets were bare and empty, save for Chaslia with her great silver axe and shield. Her small, sturdy dwarven body was covered in full platemail armor, with blood red designs. On the center of the armor was the symbol of the order she was in. The Griffin Taelia was inscribed into the armor, a great beast with the head and wings of an eagle and the body of a lion.
